Food Manager Training English. State laws require that a state licensed Food Manger be present at every restaurant, food cart, school, day care center, or other place that open food is sold or served to the public. It is the legal responsibility of the Food Manager to ensure that the employees of that establishment are serving safe food, and that the conditions of that food service are kept in accordance with the TFER, or Texas Food Establishment Rules.

Texas Food Manager Training English History
The Certified Texas Food Manager Training is for individuals new to managing a food service establishment or for food managers who need a refresher on the Texas Food Manager Training English rules as set forth in the TFER, or Texas Food Establishment Rules, which is the law that we, as food management professionals enforce in those who work for us and in the conditions of our food service establishments.
The Texas Department of State Health Services began the implementation of the Texas Food Manager Training English in 1988. Food Manager Training has become a standard in the Texas Food Industry in producing safe food for the public consumption.
In 2010, the Texas Department of State Health Services stopped administrating the Texas Food Manager Training English and the Texas Food Manager Exam. Currently, they train the trainers, us online and classroom educational companies and license us to provide Texas Food Manager Training and to proctor the Texas Food Manager Exam.
